ZA70 ENGINE CASE
My first engine case design, this is a revamp of a Puch moped engine designed in the 1970s. Utilizing a Creaform HandyScan Black Elite laser scanner, I extracted all critical features from the original design, and digitized all critical parts for digital fit checks. Multiple printed builds took place. All mechanical design and drafting took place in Solidworks. After design and prototype, Schimmel Engineering vetted vendors to produce the case. A trial run of 5 units was made. Roughly $30,000USD in product has been purchased by distributors for resale to the public.
