These new Nylon bushings are exclusively manufactured and designed by Schimmel Engineering. This kit includes everything you need to renew your 5 speed shifter at home for select W108 W109 W114 W115 W116 W123 models - please see pictures to identify if you have an EARLY or LATE shifter. These parts are made from Nylon, and will not turn into gelatin like the original parts. Be wary of purchasing original or NOS bushings, as plastic parts often have a shelf life - vintage is not better in this case.

You will need to access the bottom of the car to remove the spring clips from the shift mechanism.
